How to get your way with things involving your parents.

Growing up can be a difficult thing for most people in their life, especially if you are ranging from the years of about ten to eighteen. There are just someone challenges that come across your path that make everything about life seem just so difficult. In some cases it’s probably school or friends or something, but the biggest challenge kids these days is the people that you know, “care about you the most,” your parents. Not being able to do certain things because they say you can’t is such a classic thing when it comes to kids’ lives especially in movies, the kid says can I do something and the parent says no, then the kid always comes back with, but everyone is going. Has that ever happened to you? We all want to know why they never let us go do certain things it may be because you are too young or maybe done something bad lately but you have to learn from these things in order to achieve the goal.

Are you tired of not getting what you what out of life and tired of being restricted all the time well there are something’s that you can do to help you get what you want this can mostly be directed towards dealing with parents. First off you cannot come off as too strong and demanding for the things that you want because that would get shut down pretty quickly. You have to ease your way into making them believe you deserve whatever you are trying to get out of them. Try and be very thoughtful and polite because if you come at them all crazy with an attitude then you might even get restricted on things even more. Once you have grabbed their attention with being nice you must state your proposal to them and make sure you are clear to what you are wanting and why you should be able to do these things but also how things can be gained out of this situation. You must tell them that you will respect there guidelines to what they give you and if you do that then every time that you do it you will gain more respect from them and it will be easier next time for them to trust you and give you more leeway on the things that you want and so you can get your way.

  1. Great process analysis! This was very detailed and very relate-able. I think it could connect to lots of teenagers which is really good. It grabs my attention with all the questions and "ask yourself" type of questions. It gives good understanding of how to go about asking your parents if you want something. Good job!!

  2. I really like your topic because it is especially useful to us! haha Besides a few grammar mistakes and some awkward sentences, I like it! (Those can easily be fixed though) Have you experienced that this process works?

  3. Clear analysis. It's the most problems that teenagers would have with their children. It's a very impressive essay.
